SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed concerning the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at status sassa Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service issue made for intervention encounters a higher inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to permit the servicing of all customers and raise access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
